Edith is one of the ten customers with a named major-commission achievement. These two documented early requests show why the active brief matters: an interview outfit and a promotional costume have different style constraints.
Biographer’s Interview: three traits and a brooch
The brief combines Daywear, Risqué and Glamour, and asks for one brooch. Check both the style readings and the accessory requirement.
Suggested silhouette
Into Indie Games suggests a cinched keyhole blouse, pointed collar and long cuffed sleeves, with a straight long, circle or princess skirt.
Balance the fabrics
The guide recommends velvet for Glamour and Risqué, with linen or cotton for Daywear. Recheck the garment’s combined traits after assigning fabrics.
Reserve room for the brooch
As a planning step, include the required brooch in your cost estimate before choosing optional decoration. This helps you track spending; it does not guarantee that any design will fit the budget.
Carrot Promotion: colour and costume checks
This request is a carrot costume with Daywear, Elaborate and Playful traits. Only yellow, orange and green fabrics are allowed.

Review every assigned panel
Before cutting, check each fabric assignment against the allowed palette, including small or partly concealed pieces. Yellow, orange and green are allowed colours; the brief does not make all three compulsory.
How to unlock Swan Song
Swan Song tracks Edith’s major commissions. Completing either early request by itself does not complete that series.
Separate opera gala condition
The community achievement guide lists Edith’s opera gala dresses under On a High Note. That is a separate event condition from Swan Song.

For the interview, verify the three traits and the brooch. For the carrot costume, verify the three traits and permitted fabric colours. For both, check the active budget and review cutting, assembly and sewing quality.
